Kids Shouldn’t

be Spies

During this time, secret services are hiring children as spies. People think this is the smart thing to do. “Kids are smart, fast, and small, so they can get away from their enemy” states an anonymous person from the Queen's secret service. “Why would they get hurt they're just spying” announces another man.

Spying is a very dangerous job that consists of knowledge, agility, and being stealthy. Kids are very clumsy and can't make quick decisions . Also when kids see something, they will glance at it, not study every little detail of an area, like a spy should do. They are also unable to tell when to leave or get out so they're not caught. If caught, kids will coward and spill out all the important information by the lift of a finger. Children don't know of all the dangers in the world, they're just young kids.

Kids that spy for secret services have a high chance of getting caught, they're not just spying on a friend as a joke, they're spying on very powerful, important people. If caught these people wont be softer just because they're children. They could kill them, or torture them until the kids tell them everything. Plus they're just kids, they have their whole lives ahead of them, so many things to learn and see and they'd never get a chance to if killed because of spying. Why would kids even want to spy? Why not just play in the park with friends, or go swimming. That seems like it would be a lot more fun then being a “rat”.

The things spies have to understand, know when spying on someone is way out of the reach of a child. You must know everything about the person your spying on, what are they doing, why do they need to be spied on, what time do they fall asleep, what type off clothes do they wear. A spy must know everything in order to fulfill his “mission”. Kids haven’t even been around long enough to understand why they're even spying on the person, and what they are trying to find out from spying. They don't know how to be as quiet as a mouse, or as quick as a hawk.

Secret services would be better off by hiring men to do the job, they know what to do and how to do it. They would need less training, and teaching on how to spy then what it would take for a child. People would take the death of a full grown man a lot easier then they would the death of a child. Children just are not meant to be spies.
